Engine Clean-Out

Engine inspected and cleaned up.

Several scratches are found.

So Pretty.

A new head gasket is installed. At about $50 bucks a pop.

Look closely and you can see the rusty water pump blades.

The timing was also reajusted.

A look at several of the engine's timing components.

These components will be modified when we go to fuel injection.

We will initially run a single carb set-up to insure that we have a legal engine for the competition.

Aseem and John B. help hook up wires to get the engine running again.

We were able to start the engine later that night(on the original 4 carb set-up.)

A single carb intake system is now needed to make the engine completely SAE legal.
